Our Bushtracker Modifications

We dropped off our Bushtracker at BTi in December for the mod's and parked the Land Cruiser at Prioity Parking near Brisbane Airport $5.36 per day, undercover storage, free transfer to & from the airport. A good deal!

After three months we know we are back on the Sunshine Coast! It's raining.
We have visited the 'Sunshine Coast about 6 time's now and every time it has RAINED!!

All excitied to see how the mod's turned out. Wow, & wow! that's made a big difference.

Wow! it's opened it all up, and more cupboard space than most apartments.

Yes we love the 'BIG TABLE'

An excellent job done by all at BTi.

Off to Glenn Wyatts place in Morayfield to get the Tinnie Tosser / boat loader, outboard motor rack and utility box installed whilst we took off to the gold coast for a few days. The Tinnie had already been delivered as the tinnie tosser's are custom made to fit the tinnie & vehicle.

Arrived and unhooked just before the heaven's opened again!

Rego #'s

Glenn getting the Tinnie Tosser fitted.

All done with Sat. TV, just had to check it all out. Easy to connect and tune.

Camped at Amamoor, great spot next to the train track - Tourist Train "The Gympie Rattler" only runs on the weekends.

Have the 'TINNIE" now to find the water and fish. Next stop Bundaberg to get the Almac folding trailer, Glenn did not have time to make it for us.

Did not want the trailer on the 'A' Frame as enough weight there now with the utility box and generator. So Lynn Almac made up this bracket under the rear rake of the BT.

Lay the trailer frame and thread the webbing thru the rings and pull tight. NO movement at all.

I realised after we departed there was enough space for the wheel stub axels to fit between the frame, so added the housing post stump brackets in Mitchell.

The wheels fit perfect, you will notice the thong and length of hose, anti rattle movement wedges under the tires. 'Works well" will replace one day!!

All buttoned up, bolted to the rear channel on the BT. Chained and locked.

About 2o minutes to setup the trailer from scratch. Neat and compact, and a real asset, ideal for what we are doing in the BUSH!

Off to Karumba and Savannah Way to Roper River - BUT__!!
